Highlights from 2016 Summer Camp
2016 "Superhero Academy": We had another wonderful summer at UDCOC Summer Day Camp. Here at the Super Hero Academy we learned what it takes to be a hero, celebrated the heroes around us and looked for the hero within ourselves. Not only did we learn and grow, we had a great time doing it! We saw plays at Upper Darby Summer Stage, traveled around on great Field Trips, went swimming at the Nile Swim Club and much more!
Check out some great summer camp moments below.
Summer Day Camp began in 1993 in response to discussions with Upper Darby school officials regarding the need for summer programs to help keep children on track academically during the summer months. The program is 5-days a week, for 8 weeks from mid-June through mid-August, and serves 100 children and youth ages 6 through 14 each summer.
